Cream teas - a welcome break for walkers Please note, we are not serving cream teas or accepting any visitors to Ravenseat at the moment.
Ravenseat, although remote is accessible by road and on foot, with footpaths coming from Keld, Nine Standards Rigg and Tan Hill pub (the highest pub in England).
Alfresco cream teas are available most afternoons, served mid-day (12 noon) until 4.00pm normally from mid May to the first week of October, although opening hours are variable due to the location, weather and the unpredictable challenges of farming life!
If you are planning on paying us a visit and are travelling from a distance away, then it’s always sensible to email us using the contact form on this page of the website beforehand to avoid disappointment.
Ravenseat sits by Whitsundale Beck, at the head of the River Swale, a ten minute drive to the west of Keld.
